Women’s Day Celebration 2023

Urban Citizens Organization celebrated International Women’s Day under the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. The event was held at the Jat Holdings Auditorium on Saturday the 11th of March. The Chief guest was the Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo/Former Chairperson of the University Grants Commission, Former Sri Lanka ambassador to France presently Senior Professor and Chair in Botany, Department of Plant Science of Colombo University Professor Kshanika Hirimburegama. Mrs. Nimali Adikari Seneviratne the HR Business Partner and Deputy General Manager of the Abans Group And Assistant Superintendent of the Sri Lanka Police department ( ASP) Chandima Arumaperruma (Attorney-at-law) Were the guest speakers.
